Golden Opportunities

Wellll hellloooooo there loves!! { and the crowd goes wild } Ahhhh!!! I'm making my way back into the blog world with a H-U-G-E announcement! For those of you would have not followed Dallas and I have been busy moving and transitioning into our new life with parental assistance :)  {(I think that is about as classy as I can make moving back home with parents appear verbally)} Yes you can totally steal that if you'd like..pinkies up! So because he and I are moving back home it allows for me to take the time to follow some of my passions. Get ready to see tons of posts, pics and inspirational talks! Yeah....so....my big announcement is I have also decided randomly one morning to follow my passion for the fashion design world and take a dive into the world of sales, marketing and selling for an absolutely adorable company called chloe+isabel. The story behind the company is something that is so inspiring and I encourage you to take a moment to read it here. My favorite words of Chantel Waterbury, CEO and founder of chloe+isabel are " My mission was, and remains to this day, to empower the next generation of entrepreneurs through social retail." She speaks in a way that touches everyone and is providing me with the knowledge I need to be successful in this as well as my future endeavors. I am incredibly excited and honored to have been chosen by the company to represent them! Another reason why I chose to become a merchandiser for chloe+isabel is because they have an array of diverse collections that are perfect for any woman or man of any age. I cannot wait to show you the items that I have recently purchased and style them for you! They are absolutely fabulous!

Tonight we just released our August Mini Collection, "Make It Personal", filled with tons of pieces that celebrate you! I sat on the web chat with the thought in my head of I have to that, ooo and that, oh and that too, oh my goodness I can't live without that either! There are so many cute pieces that I know you are all going to love so head on over to my boutique and get to shopping!! 

This month is a super exciting month for me because it is my start to something new and something I have a passion for! I cannot wait to host my first pop up and share laughs, smiles and create memories with women and men alike! Versatile Elegance

Happy Tuesday loves! How was everyones' weekend?!? If you follow me on Instagram {if you haven't started yet, now is an okay time to!! I won't judge you..promise! :) } you saw I spent part of my weekend at the beach and oh my gosh was it super relaxing. I can't pinpoint the one thing that makes the beach such an enjoyable place for me but I can say that adding family into the trip certainly made it incredible! Getting away from all the craziness and stress in my life was helpful but at the same time it certainly doesn't make it disappear. I am still super stressed about moving and the time is getting closer and closer so I'm trying to get as many posts up before then to keep you guys from feeling neglected! I cannot believe my life is going to be in boxes...again! {and I know it won't be the last time... insert sigh *here*}

Todays look is super chic and incredibly comfortable! I often look to how I can style pieces around my work environment and this dress was something that fit the criteria. While the price tag isn't the lowest {I'm a girl on a budget} I saw all of the ways I could wear this and get great use out of it. Oh, and yes you guys heard me right this piece is a dress, but here I wore it as a shirt. The dress buttons all the way down to the calf area and can be worn that way. The last way I thought to wear it was as a "cardigan" type style. See?! So versatile!

Budding Industrialist

Happy weekend! Can you believe it's Sunday already?!? How I wish that time could pause every now and again! Don't you? Between a baby shower and packing I had zero time to myself, even though I was pretty much alone all weekend haha!! I didn't have time to cook either so I ordered a pizza super super late last night after taking apart my couch and rearranging my place. After sitting down to eat a slice or two, or three :) I was ready for bed! 

Today's look features one of my favorite summer time purchases: this flower kimono. Funny thing about this kimono is that it is bigger than I had wanted but feels amazing because of the size. When I purchased this I saw it hanging during a lunch break shopping spree. Lunch break= crunch time!! So when I had picked it up the hanger said Small/Medium, when I finally got around to wearing it {the next day haha} I pulled the ticket tag off before realizing that it indeed was a Large/Xtra Large. OOPS!! It always angers me when people try to pull the crafty and lazy hanger swap, am I alone??

Color Absence

Hello loves! How has the start of your weekend been? I wish I could say mine has been full of excitement however I can't since I'm working all weekend. I was talking with Dave earlier today telling him my schedule for the next fives days and I looked at him exhausted not even realizing what was ahead of me! Do you ever do that? Commit to a bunch of things not looking at the dates and then when it comes to it realize you overbooked yourself? Yup. This girl right here!

Any whooooo, I thought I'd brighten up my spirits and maybe even yours if you need it with this outfit post from something I wore last week. I absolutely adore the color white, mainly because it is a clean blank slate that pairs well with anything. It's so crisp and I find can have such an airy feeling that exudes tranquility. Add some lace to that and you've got yourself a classic, airy, relaxing piece of clothing that I can't stand seeing in my closet- it needs to be worn ALL THE TIME!

I've been dying to jump into the headpiece trend and even though I haven't quite found the one that I will reach for over and over again, this headband is super stylish and not to mention super comfortable. It's not one of those headbands that dig into your forehead and cut off the oxygen heading to your brain! I've spotted other head pieces such as this one, this one and oh this one too; but haven't committed for several reasons. #1- As I have stated before, I HATE online shopping. So after checking the store a bunch of times and having zero luck on my treasure hunts I would have to ultimately purchase at least one of them online. # 2- My hair is super thin and super flat, so to achieve the right look takes tons of time and practice, both of which I do not have stock in. For me right now time = zzzzzzzz. And #3- I make up excuses so that it seems like my laziness is justified. Haha who doesnt?
